Steve Xu NeuroTech Talks online
We are delighted that Steve Xu will deliver the second Cambridge NeuroWorks NeuroTech Talks online on 20 January 2026.
“Steve's work on skin-interfaced wearable sensors is an outstanding example of translational research” George Malliaras.
Professor Steve Xu is the Medical Director of the Querrey Simpson Institute for Regenerative Engineering at Northwestern University. He has authored over 140 peer-reviewed publications, and has 15 pending and issued patents.
Steve is also CEO and co-founder of Sibel Health, a Series-C funded medtech start-up with multiple FDA 510(k) clearances. Focussing on developing advanced monitoring solutions in clinical trials and clinical care, Sibel Health has launched its technology in over 20 countries, supported more than 30 major clinical trials and monitored 20,000 individuals worldwide.
Following his NeuroTech Talk, Steve will take audience questions put to him by Prof George Malliaras (Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge). Expect the discussion to highlight the implications and applications of Steve’s work.
Small-group, breakout-room networking will offer the opportunity to connect with others interested in translating neurotech research into treatments for neurological conditions.
You can watch this talk and send questions via the event page on Cambridge NeuroWorks Community of Connect Health Tech. It's free to join both the platform and seminar. Details below but email if you need assistance.
